Limestone Federal Credit Union aims to give back to the community and support local businesses this Credit Union Kind Day by spreading kindness. Our team at our Main Branch will be supporting the local animal shelter by raising money and tending to the animals in the shelter, while our team in Sault Ste. Marie will be hosting a gift-giving event on the campus of Lake Superior State University. Giving back to our membership, the community and local businesses is part of what makes Limestone FCU different and show how much we care. #CUKind

On CU Kind Day, our team in Manistique will be volunteering at the local animal shelter by walking dogs and spending quality time with the other animals in the shelter. This initiative allows us to unite as a team, supporting a cause close to our hearts. Our commitment to giving back extends to all members of our community, including our beloved four-legged friends, who bring boundless joy to our lives.

As part of our Credit Union Kind Day initiative, we will be hosting a gift-giving event around Lake Superior State University’s campus. Gift boxes filled with local gift cards will be hidden throughout the campus. Students, faculty, the community, and our membership will have the opportunity to hunt for these gift boxes on CU Kind Day. Hosting this event will be our way of spreading kindness to the LSSU community and to the local businesses in the area.
Head over to The Hub @ LSSU on October 9, 2023, anytime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Our Branch Manager, Chelsey, will be there to provide instructions along with a guide containing the location of each gift box.
