Announcement of The Hub

 

Limestone FCU announces new Financial Center slated to open at Jacks Fresh Market in February of 2021.   The Hub, is an exciting new financial center which will focus more on mobile products and less transactional.  A full-service ATM, paired with additional services such as instant issue debit cards, assistance with our mobile products, loan approval and signing, deposit maintenance, and much more.  We look forward to using this footprint in other locations in the future.

 

Once up and running, this location will provide extended operating hours with staff on hand during high volume times to complement our current mobile technology suite.  Plans include a coffee station and a device charging station for those who may need a little juice for their person and devices!

Q&A

 

Why was the branch branded as The Hub?

 

Different than a traditional branch, this location will service as a center for members who traditionally use our mobile technology suite but sometimes need a face-to-face location.  The Hub will offer assistance with online banking, mobile app, online loan applications, and account opening but will not have cash like a traditional branch.

 

What if I need to withdrawal or deposit cash?

 

A full-service ATM machine will be onsite, offering members a free and secure way to deposit or withdrawal cash during operating hours of Jacks Fresh Market.

 

What if I don’t have an ATM card?

 

We’ve got you covered.  One of the features of this branch is instant issue debit cards, we can take your application, approve the request, and print a card all in about five minutes.

 

What can members expect when visiting The Hub?

 

Members can expect one on one interactions with experienced staff members to meet their needs, if they can’t help on the spot, they have the connections to get it done.  This will allow members to add products and services, assist with our digital technology, inquire about loan rates, discuss benefits of membership, or sign documents with experienced staff without the hassle of waiting in line.

 

No lines?

 

Well, we certainly hope not but if you do encounter a line, simply leave your name, do your grocery shopping and we will notify you when a staff member becomes available.

 

What can we expect the space to look like?

 

Unlike a traditional branch this space will not have a teller line, rather staff will be in the lobby available to hold one on one conversations with members.  Need privacy? We can handle that too; an office is available for those sensitive transactions.

 

What future services can we expect?

 

Our goal is to add value to this space by moving our self-service coin machine, offering copy and fax services, and a notary on site.  We will continue to enhance the services offered based on member feedback.

 

What hours will the space be open?

 

The ATM will be available during store hours, seven days a week, 7:00 am-10:00 pm.

 

What hours will staff be onsite to assist with services other than the ATM?

 

Initially we expect to staff the branch Monday- Friday from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm.

 

Will this affect hours at the main branch?

 

We don’t have an immediate plan to change hours at the main branch during the week, however we do expect to move our weekend lobby hours to the Jacks location.  Initially, we will continue to operate the drive thru at the main branch on Saturday mornings.

 

Now that we are getting an ATM will you continue to refund ATM surcharge fees charged by other institutions?

 

Unfortunately, no, we originally began refunding due to long lines in drive-thru for cash withdrawals.  By refunding these fees members are able to use local ATM’s at our cost.   Once our ATM is up and running, we encourage members to use our machine to avoid surcharge fees.

 

If you move the coin machine to The Hub how will I get cash back if I use the machine?

 

Coin redemptions will be deposited to the member’s account.  If you would like cash you can use the ATM machine to withdrawal funds.
