Start Saving by Rounding Up

We are excited to announce a new program that makes saving money simple, introducing Stash. Earn. Cash!  This program allows you to automatically save your change from LFCU Debit Card purchases and stash it into a new Stash Savings Account, earning you 5.10% APR*.  Have you been trying to start a savings fund but just keep falling short?  This will be an easy way to get started and you don’t have to do anything different – just use your LFCU Debit Card!

Start small and watch your money grow!

How It Works

Any LFCU Debit Card purchase (used as debit or credit) that isn’t a whole dollar amount automatically rounds up to the nearest dollar (ex. $5.15 becomes $6.00).  Then the difference (in this case $0.85) is deposited into your Stash Savings Account at the end of each business day.

Who’s Eligible

Members who have a LFCU Checking Account and Debit Card can opt-in by clicking here.

Your New Stash Account

After opting-in, you’ll see a new Stash Account listed on your mobile app and internet teller titled EARN.  Deposits from your round up transactions will be stored here along with LFCURewards Redemptions, Member Loyalty Bonuses, any cash incentives offered by LFCU, and dividends earned on the account balance.
