Who would have thought that in the year 2020, we would be living through a pandemic? People have been laid off from their jobs, businesses have closed, and streets remain empty. What would we usually see during this time? The sun would be shining, people would be walking downtown to the local shops like The Mustard Seed, grabbing a bite to eat at Wheaty’s, and maybe walking a little further to enjoy a coffee from The Grind Coffee House or an ice cream cone from Dairy Kream.
In an instant, many of the things we look forward to are no longer within our grasp. In an instant, our lives have changed.
In a time of great uncertainty, many businesses have made an incredible effort to accommodate our community, like grocery pick-ups at Jack’s Fresh Market, curbside service at many restaurants, and even some of the retail shops will go live on social media for you to see what is new and purchase items. These efforts are greatly appreciated, and do not go unnoticed.
At The Grind Coffee House, we have changed our business hours starting May 2nd. Our doors are closed, but our pick-up window is open.

- Tuesday: 7am to 12pm
- Wednesday: 7am to 12pm

Business has slowed down a bit, however, staying open has provided many with a sense of normalcy as they come and pick up their daily coffee. We are utilizing masks, handling cash and change with gloves, and washing and sanitizing our hands frequently. We’ve offered new drink specials, such as the Sunshine Frappe, which has been a big hit. We also plan to offer gift sets for Mother’s Day, with many of our much-loved items at very discounted prices. Thank you for supporting The Grind Coffee House and be sure to check out our Facebook Page and Instagram for offers and updates, and if you stop at Jack’s there is a receipt for $1 off any drink at The Grind! 😊
