What To Expect?
Career Pathways is an event where students can explore local career paths, learn from industry experts, expand their professional networks, and gain valuable insights into employer needs and internship programs. The event will feature a distinguished panel of 14 industry experts who will share valuable insights on career development, emerging trends, and professional growth. See the list of panelist’s businesses attending below.
Professional Pathways Table
As part of the event, we will have a Professional Pathways Table where students can collect information to build a personalized folder of career and internship resources. These resources are being provided by participating businesses.
Business After 5 (networking event)
To conclude our Career Pathways program, we’re excited to invite you to a unique networking event, styled similarly to a “Business After 5” gathering. This informal setting is designed to connect students with local businesses in a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging meaningful conversations and connections.
Unlike traditional career fairs, this event focuses on building relationships rather than just job searching. Enjoy complimentary food and drinks while you mingle with professionals from various industries. Bring your questions and curiosity—this is a great opportunity to learn about different career paths, gain insights, and expand your professional network in a friendly environment. Food and beverages will be catered by The Wicked Sister and Bird’s Eye Outfitters, and sponsored by InvestUP. Beer and wine will be sponsored by U.P. Engineers and Architects. This portion of the event will be held in the Art Center lobby.
Register and Submit Questions
At no-cost, students (college and high school seniors) can register and submit anonymous questions that will help drive the conversation during the event using the registration links listed at the bottom of the page.
