Workplace Excellence Training
UP Michigan Works! and The Hub @ LSSU are co-hosting Workplace Excellence series on the campus of Lake Superior State University! Participants will learn the soft skills employers are looking for through the no-cost Workplace Excellence series. Upon course completion, each participant will be awarded a certificate of achievement. This course is open to anyone looking to grow in their career. Please join us for the first session on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Davis Room (#106) of the Cisler Center building. There will be pizza and beverages.
Modules Covered
The Workplace Excellence series will be led by a trained career professional, Mary K. Fossitt-McGinn, Talent Specialist from UP Michigan Works! Participants can expect the course to cover a series of modules, including communication ability, dependability, workability, adaptability, and suitability. Each participant will leave the course with the knowledge they need to excel in their career, be an outstanding interviewer, and understand workplace culture.

The Davis Room of the Cisler Center: 650 W Easterday Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI. 49783 (find The Davis Room in the lower level of the Cisler Center, room 106). We recommend parking in the lot behind the Cisler Center for easy access to the building.
